RBZ appoints new deputy chairperson


RITA Likukuma has been appointed as deputy chairperson of the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe.

According to General Notice 212 of 2015, the President after consultations with the Minister of Finance appointed Likukuma alongside eight other directors.

Likukuma holds a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Economics from the University of Zimbabwe, and Masters of Business Administration degree from the United Kingdom. She is also a Non-Executive Director of several companies.

The other eight individuals appointed include Virginia Mudimu (lawyer), Aaron Maboyi (Ambassador) Michael Zvikomborero Nyabadza (Anchor Yeast), Joe Mutizwa (business executive), Onesime Jacob Mukumba (former CFX chief executive) Cornelius Maradza (former ZDB), Pauline Chapendama (prisons and correctional service commissioner) and Lazarus Murahwa (banker).

The governor John Mangudya is the chairperson.-FinX
