Editor - Your story Mugabe,Tsvangirai stall referendum refers.
Diasporans are as much Zimbabwean as anyone else in Zimbabwe.
One should not lose their voting right just because they are living abroad. Zimbabwe has become a weird country. All that needs to be done is to compel diasporans to also avail their identification documents at the poll, just like every other Zimbabwean, before they are allowed to vote. This is a very simple issue which doesn't need haggling over.

Tigere, I fail to understand your arguement. What has getting old to do with living in Zimbabwe. How many of your old relatives are staying at Dandaro lodge. How many. Even the President's teacher is being cared for by his 70 year old son saka unofunga kuti Kundeya ucharashwa nevana vake nekuti ari kudiaspora? Kura uone!!!

Kundeya,if you are a man you are a man with no leg to stand on if you fool yourself that because you and your children are living this artificial life in the diaspora you think you have it all good,to hell with the same country that fed you and raised you? Wakarasika, nevana v**o zve vacharasika. Wait until you get old and get into a nursing home and the nurses aides leave you sitting on your own poop for hours, then you will remember there is something called patriotism. What a shallow minded man you are,if there are m*re of you out there thats why varume vedzimwe nyika vamiramira kubvisa dictators from power, vemuZimbabwe vachingochemera mundebvu sembudzi. Kurai mhani!

A lot of diasporans couldn't care less as to whats going on in Zimabwe-their country of birth because they realize zanupf lost it all! Its not easy to just abandon your own country of birth but the way diasporans are treated, many have a better life elsewhere
than the home country. They are respected better and above all they have the freedom they need.

Most Zimbabweans in the diaspora are basically "killing flies" In my opinion all these Zimbabweans are not in such places because they fear political repression, they have sought to avoid the "music" back home. Why should you get special rights to vote as an absentee resident of Zimbabwe. Those that seek a new political order in Zimbabwe come back and put up a brave challenge to Zanu PF
