A GOVERNMENT spokesman this week hinted at wholesale land expropriations targeting multiple farm owners, saying the exercise would be implemented without regard to the status of affected individuals.
A number of ZANU-PF luminaries reportedly own more than one farm apiece, despite a policy proscribing individuals from owning multiple farms.

    Too much talk and no action that’s this country’s weakness

    The problem is actually not multiple farm ownership, but land utilisation. I knew farmers with a number of farms, all productive and all giving employment. But even one farm where the land is not properly utlised is too many. Unfortunately politicians love slogans and often don’t or can’t think things through. It is productivity that matters
