LAFARGE Holcim Zimbabwe (Lafarge) says the prevailing cement shortages are due to panic buying that has caused artificial scarcity of the commodity. In an interview with The Financial Gazette, Lafarge chief executive Amal Tantawi said her company had enough capacity to meet demand. “…we are able to meet local demand.
