Dating On A Budget: Tinder Lite Coming Soon
Tinder is a pretty interesting application. I used it briefly and during the time I used it, I found it quite fascinating as it was the first time I had tried an online dating service. I was pleasantly surprised by the number of people using it and I always had a laugh when I would bump into the profile of someone I already know.
If you haven’t been able to experience any of this because your phone isn’t supported or you have storage woes, you’ll be happy to know that Tinder is working on a Lite version of their application aimed at simpler devices. We’ve all heard some quotes about how you don’t need money (or in this case a device that might cost you a lot) to get love (or maybe hookup) and Tinder seems to be taking that into consideration.
The CEO of Match, Mandy Ginsberg, shared details of the application aimed at countries with growing internet penetration rates such as India. Match is the group that owns Tinder and some other popular dating apps by the way.
She mentioned that the application will come in a smaller install size:
Tinder Lite will be a smaller app to download,” Ginsberg said. “It will take less space on your phone, making Tinder more effective, even in more remote areas or regions.
And keep in mind, these are regions where data usage still comes at a premium.
