ZIMBABWE’S wheat situation is dire and the country needs to craft an immediate mechanism to avert looming shortages, government has warned. Agriculture Minister Perrance Shiri  on Monday told journalists that the situation was worrying, adding there was a possibility of bread shortages and subsequent bread price hikes in the near future after the sector became the latest victim of Zimbabwe’s foreign exchange crisis. “Immediately, obviously, we need to be worried.
